Send Webflow forms to Google Sheets
Collect Webflow form submissions in your Google Sheet using a Code Embed.
- 1
Get your sheet and access key ready
Create a Google Sheet (headers are optional: we'll add a column for each field) and share it with this address as an Editor:
sheetcapture@appspot.gserviceaccount.comCopy the sheet ID from its URL (the part between
/d/and/edit), and your access key from your account page. No account yet? Start free. - 2
Add a Code Embed
In the Designer, open the Add panel, drag a Code Embed element where you want the form, and paste this in. Code Embeds need a Webflow plan that supports custom code.
<form action="https://www.sheetcapture.com/add-row" method="POST"> <input type="hidden" name="GoogleSheetID" value="YOUR_SHEET_ID" /> <input type="hidden" name="AccessKey" value="YOUR_ACCESS_KEY" /> <input type="hidden" name="_redirect" value="https://your-site.com/thanks" /> <label>Name <input name="Name" required /></label> <label>Email <input type="email" name="Email" required /></label> <label>Message <textarea name="Message"></textarea></label> <button type="submit">Send</button> </form> - 3
Create a thank-you page
Add a page such as /thanks and put its full URL in the _redirect field, so visitors land on your own page after submitting.
- 4
Publish and test
Publish your site, submit the form once, and check the new row in your sheet.
Embedded forms use your site's fonts but no other styling. Add a class to the form and style it with your own CSS, or paste a <style> block above the form.
Anything in a web page, including hidden fields, can be seen by visitors. Your access key can only add rows and use your plan's requests, but only embed it on sites you control.
